The Lady of the Hour is Suor Angelica

Suor Angelica and Gianni Schicchi on Feb. 4, 5, 11, 12

I am truly honored to have been chosen to sing the title role of Suor Angelica.  This will be my debut on the Indiana University Opera Theater Stage.  This story is ever so captivating with the beautiful music of Giacomo Puccini and the story is absolutely compelling in my opinion.  It's the story of a woman who has been in a convent for a number of years.  She has kept a dear secret that is revealed in this one-act opera and we see how she copes with the issues of the past with the value of morality.

With Conductor Andrew Altenbach and directed by James Marvel this event will take place in the Indiana University Musical Art Center paired with Piccini's famous one-act opera Gianni Schicchi.  You can also view this  LIVE Streamed....online!!.......LIVE!!!! For more details go to the IU Jacobs School of Music opera website, http://www.music.indiana.edu/opera/.  Enjoy!!!! I know I will. ;-D

The Lady of the Hour

Hello Loved Readers,

This is the Lady of the hour, Lenora Green, excited to inform you about the latest updates of my career and growth.  I welcome you to my blog as an informative newletter and insight as I grow to be the best professional vocalist I can be.  Just to tell you a little bit about myself, I was born and raised in the heart of Georgia to a loving family that supports me in my creative and artistic profession.  I have been in music since I can remember, but I didn't start singing classically until my first year of college.  Ever since then, I have decided to take the gift of singing and run with it.  I have been blessed to win competitions, travel to many places to share my talent, and I have had the pleasure and honor to have studied with some of the greatest performers, conductors and composers of our time.  So please, feel free to read my dear readers and I hope that you will like it and invite your friends.  Read on and Enjoy!!!
